2 Chainz and Lil Wayne recently dropped their highly-anticipated collaborative album titled ColleGrove, and the duo have shared the visuals from the project’s single, “Bounce”. The song sees Wayne and his collaborator trade verses, the flows on display are clever and tongue twisting.
However, Wayne’s first, the opening one, is delivered at a pitch that can only be described as irritating. It is whiny and annoying, though I daresay that’s the intention, like a ghetto fabulous persona. The beat has similar attributes, but is not as grating. In the video, you the two in a heated rap battle surrounded by a sizeable crowd of friends, women and entourages.
