War For The Planet Of The Apes is a 2017 action film starring Andy Serkis, Woody Harrelson, Steve Zahn, Judy Greer, and Karin Konoval. It will be directed by Matt Reeves, who is most notable for crafting the screenplay for The Yards (2000) and directing 2010 horror Let Me In. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to watch this. From the trailers it looks really good.
The official plot synopsis via IMDb reads: “After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind”.
