‘A Nightmare On Elm Street’ To Be Rebooted Again | Film News

New Line Cinema has announced plans to give the Nightmare On Elm Street franchise an up-to-date reboot of Freddie Krueger’s dream invading antics for a new film. Director Samuel Bayer gave the original film a fresh outing in 2010 but no further films were made. Although no director is currently attached to this new project, David Leslie Johnson has been tipped as scriptwriter. Johnson has also recently been announced as the scriptwriter for the new Dungeons and Dragons big screen adaptation. His previous credits include The Peculiar Orphan and the 2011 adaptation of Red Riding Hood.
