Seeing your favourite artist live in concert can be an unforgettable experience. Many bands go on tour all over the world to give their fans a chance to see them perform in their home country. Some people even travel miles to go to a gig and tickets are widely available to purchase online for many different events. AC/DC are one of the biggest bands in rock. Hailing from Australia, they formed in 1973, and have gigged all over the world after rising to fame. Their genres cover blues rock, hard rock and even rock and roll and heavy metal.

They are in the top of the best selling bands list with impressive sales of over 200 million albums around the globe. Several line-up changes have occurred over the years, but the band has gone from strength to strength since the early days. Their album, For Those About To Rock We Salute You, went to number one in the USA. One of their other albums, Black Ice, also achieved great success, followed by For Those About to Rock, a single that went to the top spot in the charts around the world.

AC/DC have been listed in many notable charts, such as fourth in the 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock by VH1 and seventh in MTV’s Greatest Heavy Metal Band of All Time. They have also received various award nominations and wins over the years, including Best Hard Rock Performance for War Machine in 2010 and Best Reunion in 2008 at the Rock on Request Awards. Still gigging around the world to this day, AC/DC are a band well worth seeing live in concert. They put on a fantastic show full of energy and talented musicianship.
