Adele’s ’21’ Christened Billboard’s ‘Greatest Album Of All Time’ | Music News
Adele‘s album 21 has been crowned the Billboard’s Greatest Album Of All Time. Billboard came to this conclusion with albums being “ranked based on an inverse point system, with weeks at No. 1 earning the greatest value and weeks at the lower reaches of the chart earning the least” – Adele coming out on top“. 21 spent twenty-four non-consecutive weeks atop the Billboard 200 chart, a record for the most weeks at No.1 for an album by a woman. This, along with the seventy eight weeks the album spent in the top ten, helped Adele claim the title Billboard’s Greatest Album Of All Time.
