Alanis Morissette Discusses Recovery From Eating Disorder | Music News

It’s never easy to admit your struggles, but to essentially reinvent yourself and your approach to the issue is fantastic. Alanis Morissette spoke unabashed to Women’s Health about how she would indulge in “bingeing and purging, starving, overeating” and that now, she has turned food into medicine. Her home is a spiritual haven packed full of religious memorabilia which she interacts with on a daily basis. She mentioned how “writing and creating moves energy”, but that that isn’t enough. The take-home message here is that by indulging in things that uplift and generate positivity, even huge issues can be lessened if not done away with entirely.
