Albert Hammond Jr. Questions Future Of The Strokes | Music News

In a recent interview, The Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. has questioned the future of the band. Speaking with NME, Hammond Jr states that “half of you almost wishes the band was over, so you could mourn it, and the other half of you is like, ‘Why are we wasting such an amazing opportunity?’ We are so good together and it’s hard to find that connection with people. I would love to know about the future of the band as much as you would“. The New York indie band’s most recent gig was headlining British SummerTime Festival in London in June, while Hammond Jr. released the official video for his latest solo single “Human Touch” last week. The single comes from his new album Momentary Masters which is due for release on July 31.
