The first photo for Ricky Gervais‘ upcoming Netflix movie, Special Correspondents has been released, boasting an incredibly strong cast for the satirical comedy. Eric Bana is taking the lead role, playing a New York radio journalist determined to maintain his playboy lifestyle by faking news reports. Also joining Bana will be Ugly Betty star, America Ferrera, The Conjuring star, Vera Farmiga, Kelly Macdonald (Boardwalk Empire), Kevin Pollak (The Usual Suspects), Raúl Castillo (Looking) and Benjamin Bratt (Law & Order). In addition to his roles as writer and director, Gervais will also feature in the movie. If the cast is anything to go by, then this movie is sure to be a success and is due for release on Netflix in 2016.
