All You Need To Know About Series Three Of ‘Peaky Blinders’ | TV News
Peaky Blinders, the BBC’s historical crime drama series is set to make its return to our screens later this year. The show is set in 1920’s Birmingham and follows the boss of the Peaky Blinders gang, Tommy Shelby, played by Irish actor Cillian Murphy.
Other cast members include Helen McCrory, Sam Neill, as well as Paul Anderson and Joe Cole who both play Tommy’s brothers Arthur and John Shelby respectively. Mad Max: Fury Road star Tom Hardy also made an appearance in series 2, playing gangster Alfie Solomons.
The much anticipated third series is expected to air on BBC Two later in the spring, and is set to follow the Shelby family entering a “glamorous and dangerous world of international intrigue.”
The entire Shelby family are set to return, as well as Tom Hardy who has been confirmed to appear by the shows writer Steven Knight. It has also been reported that actor Paddy Considine is joining the cast, playing “the representative of a force beyond anything Shelby has previously encountered.”
