Ameriie has been hiding in the shadows for some time, with this being her first project in seven years. Drive is a six track EP that was released on 18 May but just like Ameriie was kept under wraps. It features the single “Every Time” featuring rapper Fabolous, which was released as a teaser for another project in 2012.
Her last album In Love and War was released in 2009 but since then she has been busy, not only with another project to be released in July but two book series on the way. This comeback is much awaited for fans of the classic “1 Thing” which graced many a 00’s school disco, so if you are interested in where the R’n’B artist has ventured waste no time in checking out the EP.
