Amy Winehouse Documentary To Be Screened At Glastonbury Festival | Music News

It has recently been confirmed that Amy, a documentary made by Asif Kapadia about the life of Amy Winehouse, will receive a special screening at this year’s Glastonbury Festival on the 25th of June. The highly-anticipated documentary tells the incredibly story of the six time Grammy Award winner in her own words. The film features exclusive unseen archive footage and previously unheard tracks. It will screen at this year’s Guardian Presents Film on the William’s Green stage and will end with a Q&A with BAFTA-winning filmaker and editor Chris King as well as a video message from director Asif Kapadia. AMY is due for release in UK cinemas on July 3, 2015.

My name is kira and I study Media and Communications. I live in the beautiful and wonderfully diverse city of Brighton. I've loved writing since a young child when I would write poems about my goldfish and leaves I found on the floor. (I'm hoping my writing style has slightly progressed since then!) I love listening to live music and try to go to as many gigs as possible. Follow my social media if you want to know more!
