Avenged Sevenfold To Begin Writing New Album Next Summer | Music News
Avenged Sevenfold lead singer M. Shadows has announced that the band “should” begin working on material for their next studio album by next summer, due for a 2016 release. Their latest release Hail To The King, was certified gold in July by the Recording Industry Association Of America (RIAA), for shipment of 500,000 copies. The album was the band’s second album to debut at #1 on the Billboard album chart, while a special anniversary edition of Avenged Sevenfold’s second album Waking The Fallen sold around 22,000 copies in the United States in its first week back in August. The 2003 album was the first to feature guitarist Synyster Gates and bassist Johnny Christ as permanent members, and the bands last independent release before signing to Warner Bros. Records.
