‘Bad Moms’: Having Fun With The Moms | Film Review

BAD MOMS

Bad Moms is a 2016 comedy directed by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore (mostly known for The Hangover trilogy). It is starring Mila Kunis, Kathryn Hahn, Kristen Bell, Christina Applegate and Jada Pinkett Smith.

A synopsis for Bad Moms reads: “When three overworked and under-appreciated moms are pushed beyond their limits, they ditch their conventional responsibilities for a jolt of long overdue freedom, fun, and comedic self-indulgence”.

In this comedy you can expect drugs, sex, bad language and a lot of drinks. If you have watched The Hangover then you know the drill, only now we deal with mothers and essentially women in crisis. There are some moments of laughter and some sentimental scenes (don’t worry it’s nothing too serious, though). I can honestly say that Bad Moms is an entertaining comedy and the performances given are funny and not so bad as…the moms are.

This is an ideal movie for the summer although I wouldn’t advise you to watch it with your kids. In the end I would say that after watching this film you realize that motherhood is difficult, but you can still have fun while raising your kids.

Bad Moms is out in cinemas everywhere!
