Barbican Creatives Presents ‘A Change Is Gonna Come’ | Events
A Change Is Gonna Come is the latest instalment of Barbican’s artistic and socio-political movement, The Art of Change 2018, which aims to triumphantly voice a host of nuanced perspectives that would normally be subjected as peripheral to engender “bold artistic responses” to global issues.
Indeed, A Change Is Gonna Come under the creative direction of Jacob Sam-La Rose and Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante, is anticipated to be both electrifying and emotive from the oeuvre of Barbican talent.
For lovers of spoken-word, poetry and music or even debate, A Change Is Gonna Come is the place to be if you want to witness the articulation of rhythm and rhetoric intoned by the Barbican Young Poets as well as their oration of personal experiences and social issues.
Standard tickets are £12 but there are concessions and discounts available. Find out more information here.
Although, I may initially appear as an introvert, once grounded and assured, I become fiery, quirky, and a tad bit goofy. I am just a free-spirited soul.
I do have a softer side to me, in which I am known by many to be caring, thoughtful and "too" nice.
I love to read, write, sing and travel.
Perhaps, I am best described as an open-minded intellectual with a creative flair.
