BBC Recipes Petition Gets Over 100,000 Signatures | TV News
The BBC and the Government are facing the first of many backlashes about its reforms to the BBC, but this seems rather trite in comparison to the others that have come before it, though as a non-foodie, clearly it is not my area of expertise.
The closure of a slew of BBC’s online services, more specifically circa 11,000 food recipes which will be deleted as part of the streamlining procedures to save £15 million and meet Chairman Whittingdale’s demands to make its online content more unique. The anger at this has resulted in an online petition, which has over 100,000 signatures.
