2016’s official list of nominees for the BET Hip Hop Awards have been released, with some interesting numbers coming out of it. Drake stands tall with the most nominations, with 14 nominations to his name including Best Hip Hop Video, Track Of The Year and Album Of The Year. Next closest is Future with 10, DJ Khaled with 9 and Kanye West with 8.
Other exciting nominations include Chance The Rapper’s Colouring Book for Best Mixtape, and every release in the Album Of The Year category, which includes Drake’s VIEWS, Fetty Wap’s self titled release, Kanye’s The Life Of Pablo, Dr Dre’s Compton, Future’s DS2, DJ Khaled’s I Changed A Lot.
The awards will be held on Saturday, September 17, and aired on TV Tuesday, October 4, and you can read the full list of nominees here.
