Bill Murray Confirmed To Appear In ‘Ghostbusters’ Reboot | Film News
He ain’t afraid of no ghosts. And its seems like he isn’t afraid of no reboot either! The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Bill Murray, who played Dr. Peter Venkman in Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II will appear in Paul Feig’s reboot. The actor was originally not fond of the idea of being part of the project due to the negative outcome of Ghostbusters II.
All we know so far is that the film is currently shooting and will be starring a lovely lady cast of Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones, along with our favourite warrior, Chris Hemsworth. What to expect of the film is uncertain so far, but definitely lots of humour and four bad ass women proving they can bust though ghosts just as good as Murray and the gang. The movie opens in cinemas on July 22, 2016.
