Blake Shelton – I Really Shouldn’t Drink Around You | New Music

This past week, Blake Shelton put out his latest album titled Bringing Back the Sunshine. In addition to the track “Lonely Tonight”, my favorite song off this record is “I Really Shouldn’t Drink Around You”. This song is taken off the extended Walmart Exclusive edition of Bringing Back the Sunshine. The funny, clever lyrics include items like, “there ain’t really no such thing as gin and platonic” and “wine always turns in why not”. The honest brutality of the song makes this catchy number unavoidably likeable. This track and album as a whole return to the more classic roots of country music, with ample steel guitar riffs and an abundance of timeless country music themes like drinking and love. Buy the album on iTunes today and listen to “I Really Shouldn’t Drink Around You” below.
