Bloc Party – Virtue | Music Video

Bloc Party 13.04.2016ANDREW

Earlier this year, UK dance-rockers, Bloc Party, released their album, HYMNS. Now they have made the visuals for album cut, “Virtue”. HYMNS is out now on Infectious Music/BMG/Vagrant.

The track opens with pounding, hard hitting drums, with stabs of keyboard before the vocals come in. The bass then sneaks in, and then the keyboards change and herald a chorus quite grand. Guitars are used very sparingly in this track. A middle section of sorts kicks in, just drums and keyboard, to add some dynamics before the track ends.

Visuals wise, the song features frontman, Kele Okereke, amidst strange sights, like people blued up to look like Smurfs. They drink, they smoke, and the act sexually suggestive. Very weird indeed.
