Blood Orange Releases ‘Freetown Sound’ Three Days Early | Music News
Dev Hynes (a.k.a. Blood Orange) has released his new album, Freetown Sound, three days early (the original release date being this coming Friday on July 1). Freetown Sound is the follow up to 2013’s critically acclaimed Cupid Deluxe.
Hynes is a renowned songwriter and producer, so it doesn’t come as a surprise that he wrote and produced the album himself. The album’s title originates from the capital of Sierra Leone, where Hynes’ father was born.
Stream Freetown Sound below, and enjoy!
My favourite genres are Rap, R&B, Pop & some Metal for good measure, (Hail Satan and all that). Unfortunately for you, I’m not Batman, nor am I Spiderman, I’m just a human being who’s trying to follow his passion for Music, hoping to achieve some level of success. I enjoy Film, watching TV series (the gruesome kind, such as Hannibal, may it R.I.P.) and I enjoy Art; creating and admiring. All in all, you’ve heard it all before, so I’ll let my writing do the talking! http://lamusique-et-lafolie.tumblr.com
