Los Angeles rapper, Blu, and Virginia producer, Nottz, are gearing up for the release of their forthcoming EP, Titans In The Flesh, having dropped their latest single, “Atlantis”. Titans In The Flesh serves as a seven track follow up to Blu & Nottz’s 2013 EP, Gods In The Spirit. The EP will be released Friday, July 15.
It opens with what sounds like a vocal warmup, which sounds rather peculiar for a rap song. Simple, syncopated bass punctuates sparsely, but pounds enough to get the heads nodding. You certainly cannot accuse it of being unoriginal. A screaming sample closes the track, echoing for the fadeout.
