British Fashion Council Announces NEWGEN Autumn/Winter 2015 Winners | Fashion News
The British Fashion Council have announced the recipients of next season’s NEWGEN sponsorship, including Marques’Almeida who have recently collaborated with Topshop to create their first luxury high street collection. Alongside the fresh design duo, catwalk sponsorship will also be given to 1205, Ryan Lo and Ashley Williams.
Marta Jakubowski, and Sadie Williams received the exhibition sponsorship, while Claire Barrow, Molly Goddard, Danielle Romeril and Faustine Steinmetz are the four designers to receive the presentation sponsorship, and round up the ten emerging designers of this season to keep an eye on. These ten designers will receive sponsorship to showcase their Autumn/Winter 2015 collections at London Fashion Week between February 20 and February 24, 2015.
For over 20 years, NEWGEN has been at the forefront of identifying the freshest fashion talent, offering young designers financial support and the opportunity to make a name for themselves within the competitive fashion industry. This year’s list, like every year’s, is full of eclectic and interesting designers who are set to become household names in the near future – previous NEWGEN winners include Alexander McQueen and Jonathan Saunders.
