Busta Rhymes Charged With Second Degree Assault | Music News
Busta Rhymes was arrested and subsequently charged with assault on Wednesday (August 5), following a dispute between himself and another gym goer in a ‘Steel Gym’ in New York. The rapper/producer stands accused of throwing a protein shake at the other individual’s head – the gym user later refused medical treatment. A lawyer for Rhymes has stated that the allegations remain “untrue” and that Busta Rhymes will overcome the accusation. The lawyer was quoted by TMZ as saying the incident is just “another attempt to take advantage of Busta’s celebrity status“. Despite this, news has emerged that Rhymes will be charged with second degree assault as a result of the incident.
