Carol Burnett Returns To TV In Netflix’s ‘A Little Help With Carol Burnett’ | TV News
Legendary comedienne Carol Burnett is to return to series television with her own Netflix show A Little Help With Carol Burnett. Known for sketch/variety programme The Carol Burnett Show, her unscripted new venture takes on a refreshing format, and combines old and new for an inspired watch.
The series will be made up of 12 half-hour episodes, where both celebrities and mortal people like you and me will get advice from “a panel of straight-talking 4-8-year-olds”. Burnett, 84, when asked in an interview how old she is inside, responded “I’m about 8, so it’s going to be a lot of fun plating with kids my age“. The star is certainly not your typical 84 year old, and recently opened her first Instagram account.
Netflix released a video, detailing a mock interview in which Burnett must prove her worth to a young kid. It’s quirky satire and promises funny moments in the upcoming series. A Little Help with Carol Burnett will premiere on Netflix in 2018. Watch the series announcement below.
