Here, gone and back again! Last night (December 11), Chance The Rapper released a new single via social media, but only for 3 minutes. The track was taken down so only a lucky few would be able to hear the new sound. But thanks to chance’s fast acting fans “Cold Stares” has now been uploaded for everyone to listen, and we are all very grateful. The new material shows several of the reasons that Chance currently resides on a level of his own. There is not a whole lot going on but there doesn’t need to be, often with not even a beat, just teasing harmonies, chance’s words and the light sounds and voices drift about in the music.
