Chance The Rapper Donates To Chicago’s Public Schools | Music News
Imagine your head teacher getting a call from your borough or city to say that he would like to come and pay your school a visit? I know I would be ecstatic. So imagine how the teachers and students of Westcott Elementary School felt when Chance The Rapper showed up? It was a great moment, which Chance surmised as “this is about taking care of the kids”.
Chance, arrived at the school on Sunday, March 5 with a check of $10,000 to aid the school after being hit by $250miliion budget cut. His charitable work did not stop there as he donated a total of $1m to public schools to Chicago.
It’s not all about the amount of money rather the passion to support the cause; to ensure that the future generations are not starved of the opportunity to excel in school and beyond.
