Chance The Rapper & Janelle Monáe Announced For North Sea Jazz Festival 2019 | Music News

 

Chance The Rapper, Janelle Monáe, Ms. Lauryn Hill, The Internet, Kamasi Washington, Rag’N’Bone Man, H.E.R and more have been announced for the North Sea Jazz Festival, and we couldn’t be more excited.

 

The world’s largest indoor music festival will return to Rotterdam, Netherlands from 12-14 July, and will feature jazz, hip hop, RnB, soul, blues and more, so there’s plenty of variation for everybody to enjoy.

 

The festival is easily accessible for Brits, with it being either an hour’s plane journey or a simple direct train from London St Pancras.

 

The North Sea Jazz Festival began in 1976, and it is yet to have relevant competition. It is one of the most unique, eclectic events in the musical calendar, with features from Miles Davis, Ray Charles, D’Angelo, Erykah Badu, Jamiroquai and Earth, Wind and Fire.

 

This year the festival will host over 1000 musicians with over 150 performances across the 3 days.

Although Early Bird tickets have sold out, you can still get day tickets here, and they go on sale on 1 February, but be quick! This is a very popular event.
