Charlize Theron And Chloë Grace Moretz Star In ‘Dark Places’ | Film Trailer

Last year, Gillian Flynn’s best-selling novel, Gone Girl, directed by David Fincher, was adapted and released for the screen. Now, a year later, Flynn’s second best-seller and film-adaption, Dark Places, has just released its first official trailer. The latter has been written and directed by Gilles Paquet-Brenner, and audiences will be desiring the darkly suspenseful mystery of the former Flynn adaption.

Twenty-five years after her brother is convicted for the murders of her mother and sisters, Libby (Charlize Theron) is haunted by the gruesome violence of her past when she meets a group of amateur investigators who call themselves “The Kill Club”. Looking to satisfy their morbid curiosity, the group begins their own inquiry about the case, believing Libby’s brother is innocent. In order to help them, Libby must unearth painful memories of the event and learn that her past may not be what it seems. The film also stars Chloe Grace Moretz, Christina Hendricks and Nicholas Hoult. Flynn’s second adapted film is expecting a June 18, 2015 (USA) release.
