There are certain people out there who strongly feel that Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is 95% eye candy, 5% musical artist. And yet, if they only observed the almost untouchable creative prowess in her latest video, they would see that “Only Human” has clearly already earned her a seat at every existential debating table up and down the country. I had my doubts at first. But then I was quick to remind myself that at times the depth of artists’ work is quite simply beyond me. In essence then, Cheryl’s new video articulates (nay celebrates) the transient nature of life, in combination with the unfathomable character of the universe we inhabit. Finally, don’t be ashamed to express your feelings during the video. It’s just over three and a half minutes long. I cried for two. Feed your jealousy and/or admiration below.
