May her career be bright and full of success. Head of BBC Films, Christine Langan, has confirmed that she is to join Steve Coogan’s independent film and TV company, Baby Cow, as CEO following Henry Normal’s departure from the position.

Langan is to step down from the influential role at the heart of British film establishment following Normal’s departure, commenting he wanted to “take a long overdue break from TV and film production”.

As reported by Screen, the exit timetable has yet to be worked out, but the theory is that Langan may leave the post in October of this year.
