Chvrches – Cry Me A River (Justin Timberlake Cover) | New Music

Earlier today, Scottish electronic three piece, Chvrches (Pronounced Churches) performed a cover of Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me A River” on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge with Fearne Cotton. This is not the first pop cover from Mayberry, Cook, and Doherty, they performed a rendition of Seal’s “Crazy” from the backseat of a car and collaborated with Bleachers on “Go Your Own Way” originally by Fleetwood Mac. Chvrches have recently finished a 2 year schedule of touring their debut album The Bones of What You Believe. The album peaked at #9 in the UK album chart. In January of this year, the trio started working on new material; a second album is on its way. The cover track k can be heard, along with a small interview below.
