Cimorelli – That Girl Should Be Me | Music Video

With a delirious sticky bubble-gum rhythm, American girl band Cimorelli present the visuals of their new single “That Girl Should Be Me”. Following some artist references like Katy Perry or Kesha, the band present a colorful and funny video where the artists sing about a love that is unrequited, while they are having fun in a improvised party.

The band is comprised of six sisters, whose ages range from thirteen and twenty two. The vocation for music came very early when the sisters started singing in their local church, and then in theatre productiins. Soon after, the sibling band became popular thanks to YouTube where they shared some covers of the likes of Miley Cyrus and One Direction, before signing their first record contract with Universal in 2011.

About their influences, the band say, “we all love different styles of music, everything from R&B and hip-hop, to country, to indie rock and ’80s synth-pop”. Really their sounds is very mainstream and contagious, so you can´t get it out of your head. Cimorelli are currently preparing their debut album Renegade which will be released on October 27 via Universal, while you can watch and enjoy their first anticipated single “That Girl Should Be Me” below.
