Marvel’s new trailer for Captain America: Civil War has already generated a huge amout of excitement for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This is the film that’s so big it scared Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice into changing its release date. The trailer clearly sets up an Captain America vs Iron Man conflict with various Avengers having to choose sides. The trailer also offers the first glimpse of previously unseen future avenger, the incredibly athletic and super-smart Black Panther.

Chadwick Boseman is playing the newest Marvel superhero, T’Challa, leader of the African country of Wakanda. Wakanda was established in Age Of Ultron as the source of the unbreakable metal that made Captain America’s shield, vibranium. The Panther’s suit shown in the still from the trailer is a vibranium weave. The role of the Panther in Civil War and what side he will choose is unknown. The directors, the Russo Brothers, revealed “He’s there for a very different reason which brings him into conflict with Cap and his team. His motivations are not their motivations”.

The picture from the trailer below shows Cap in pursuit of the Panther.
