As we reported just few days ago hereColdplay were apparently set to replace Adele at the first position in the UK Official Album Chart, when they released their seventh album A Head Full of Dreams.

Friday has come though, and the British band’s new album has entered the charts at number two, without affecting Adele‘s record 25. Although all the previous records from Coldplay have debuted at number one in the UK, with 236,000 copies sold in its first week, A Head Full of Dreams has already become the band’s quickest-selling album since 2008’s Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends.
