Anyone got Springwatch, Autumnwatch,Summerwatch, and Winterwatch déjà vu. Having conquered Sunday nights on BBC One, Countryfile Diaries is due to be rolled out for three more series in summer, autumn, and winter.

John Craven will return to host the three new series, alongside Countryfile regular Jules Hudson, Paul Martin, Keeley Donovan, and Margherita Taylor. Dan McGolpin, BBC controller for daytime and early peak programming commented:

Countryfile Spring Diaries brought us some wonderful scenes and insightful journalism at a key point of the year for rural communities. We are now extending the series to all four seasons, with five new programmes for each of the summer, autumn and winter to be scheduled across weekday mornings on BBC 1. I look forward to many topical and relevant stories from our exciting team of presenters”.
