Farewell to Alice Glass. The vocalist recently took to Twitter to announce her departure from Crystal Castles, the band she formed with Ethan Kath in 2004. Glass alluded to expecting her fans to support her career as a solo artist as they did with Crystal Castles, announcing that; “I am leaving Crystal Castles. For a multitude of reasons both professional and personal I no longer feel that this is possible within CC. For a multitude of reasons both professional and personal I no longer feel that this is possible within CC. Although this is the end of the band, I hope my fans will embrace me as a solo artist in the same way they have embraced Crystal Castles”. Crystal Castles been active for a decade, their last record III, was released in 2012.
