Spitta Andretti, usually known as Curren$y, returns with a FortyFPS-produced visual for his song, “Dope Boys”, featuring Rick Ross. For more on where “Dope Boys” comes from, visit Curren$y’s Jet Life FilmsBourbon Street Secrets mixtape.

“Dope Boys”, song produced by Purps, opens with earnest, yet slightly ominous acoustic guitar. It has a rather relaxing vibe, the backdrop tinkling but not childlike. The two rappers appear to share street stories, whereby life is at a fast pace, and you do not know for sure you will land on your feet.

The animated clip, presented by Jet Life Films, shows the two living a jet set rapper lifestyle. It appears not everything is above board, though, having, amongst other things, to watch out for people perhaps conspiring for your downfall.

I've always wanted to be involved in the media since before I even left school; to write for a living.I feel most eloquent when mapping out my thoughts on paper or on a computer screen.I studied media at college for two years, and went straight into third year at university studying publishing with journalism. After a range of work experience, I did a magazine journalism course in Bournemouth, a long way away from my hometown of Aberdeen, achieving my NCTJ qualifications. Now I spend my time gladly writing about music.
