CW President Says ‘Supernatural’ Spinoff Could Still Happen | TV News

After having been on the air for 10 seasons (its 11th season will air in October), Supernatural is still going strong. However Mark Pedowitz, the president of The CW, has not ruled out a spinoff of the popular show. Speaking with Zap2it, Pedowitz said, “we’d love to do one. It probably would not happen this year, but at some point there will be another swing“. Supernatural’s backdoor pilot Bloodlines which aired during the shows 9th season, failed to be picked up by the network. The 11th season of Supernatural airs on The CW in the US on October 7.
