Grime veteran D Double E has come back with a bang as he today shared his brand new single and video entitled “Better Than The Rest” featuring fellow Grime heavyweight Wiley. His latest effort was produced by Diamondz and the visuals was directed by Saloum N’Jie.
Premiered through Noisey, The video paints a striking picture of the concrete jungle of East London where he calls his home. The skyscrapers contrasting with the council flats, the overground trains contrasting with the graffiti art and D Double sitting upon his ‘throne’ as one of the ‘Kings’ of the genre he helped architect.
The song itself is a literal flex of bravado from both Wiley and D Double E as they go back to back on the track. “Better Than The Rest” acts as the first single from a scheduled album release from the rapper to be called Jackuum! released via his label Bluku Music.
