Damon Albarn Reveals Collaboration With Adele | Music News
Blur/Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn has revealed a working relationship with pop superstar Adele on her forthcoming album. Speaking in an interview, Albarn revealed Adele asked him to work as a producer on the follow up to her 2011 release 21.
Albarn has confessed however that he has little hope his work on the album with make the final cut, claiming some of the tracks he worked on to be very “middle of the road. And I’m not a producer, so… I don’t know what is happening really. Will she use any of the stuff? I don’t think so. Let’s wait and see”.
News of Albarn’s involvement will no doubt bring the eyes of a new audience to the already hotly anticipated release. His concerns about the quality of the work will raise question as to whether Adele can continue her monumental success following a short break away from music.
