Danish Fashion Takes Centre Stage At Copenhagen Fashion Week | Fashion News
Sunday marked the end of Copenhagen Fashion Week and eyes quickly turned to what London Fashion Week has on offer next. But before we turn the attention away from Denmark, we need to look at what was spotted on the catwalk and how this may dominate next month’s London shows. Aside from the celebrity endorsement, catwalk models and the odd Game of Thrones actors, the clothes which were being modelled at the shows were a plethora of Danish labels. These included Wood Wood, Samsøe and Samsøe, Marie Ganni and Mads Nørgaard. There are reports of these labels taking centre stage and opening up a new niche which were previously unheard of. Berlin and Copenhagen collectively have certainly kept us guessing on what we think is current and are certainly challenging the established fashion shows in the UK and western Europe.
