Dave Grohl Announced As Record Store Day 2015 Ambassador | Music News
Dave Grohl has been announced as the ambassador for Record Store Day 2015. Although he is most known for fronting Foo Fighters, the genre-expanding back catalogue of music he is or has been involved in, would lead anyone to believe that he’s an ideal candidate as this year’s ambassador. The acts include Nirvana, of course, Them Crooked Vultures and Probot to name a few.
In a press release on the Record Store Day website, Grohl commented on his experience with record stores and with being announced as the Record Store Day 2015 ambassador, saying, “I believe that the power of the record store to inspire is still alive and well, and that their importance to our next generation of musicians is crucial”.
