Diane Lane To Star In Matthew Weiner’s ‘The Romanoffs’ | TV News

Diane Lane is the latest star announced to have a role in Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner‘s upcoming project, The Romanoffs. It is yet another projects created, written, directed and executive produced by Weiner, and chronicles the stories of people who believe themselves to be descendants of the Russian royals.

 

Lane will guest star in one of the episodes, joining the already announced cast made up of Aaron Eckhart, Isabelle Huppert, Marthe Keller, Christina Hendricks, John Slattery, Jack Huston, Amanda Peet, Corey Stoll, Andrew Rannells, Mike Doyle, JJ Feild, Janet Montgomery and Paul Reiser.

 

Diane Lane most notably starred as an adulterous wife in the critically-praised Unfaithful, for which she received Oscar, SAG and Golden Globe nominations. More recently, she’s enjoyed the role of Martha Kent, Superman’s adoptive mother, for which she’ll next be seen in Justice League, set to hit theaters on November 17.

 

The Romanoffs will debut on Prime Video next year.
