Disclosure Announce New Album ‘Caracal’ | Music News
Today (June 7) marks the date that Disclosure announce their new album, Caracal. The new record will be released on the 25th of September and will be the follow-up to their 2013 breakthrough debut album Settle. The lead single from the album is “Holding On” featuring Gregory Porter, and other features on the album will include Kwabs, Nao and Lion Babe.
Howard Lawerence, one half of the Disclosure duo, outlined the reason for the title; Caracal: “A caracal is an incredible wild cat that I became fascinated with while on tour last year; I just love the way they look, their physical capabilities and their anonymity. It felt like a perfect fit for our Wild Life brand too, so the caracal made perfect sense as the lead visual for the new album and over the course of recording, it also felt like a natural title for the new record too“.
