Britain gives people so many opportunities to entertain themselves. So it is not surprising that sometimes, it is really hard to make up your mind – especially when it comes to which shows you should visit. In this article, we have chosen some of the most renowned and talented artists that will perform in different cities. You can check out for other tour dates, but mind that many of them are sold out.

The concerts we really advise you to visit are quite different. So, everybody will find something interesting. Also, mind the fact that some of the performers do not play live very often, so it might be the only chance for you to see them in your city. What makes it even more pleasant is that most of the concerts will take place in some of the best venues of Great Britain. In this light, the pleasure of going visiting a concert can surely be doubled.

Biffy Clyro 07.12.2016 Birmingham

Biffy-Clyro-new

A Scottish alternative rock band Biffy Clyro has turned out to be a very productive project. In 14 years, they’ve released eight albums, which means that they don’t keep their fans waiting for something new for more than a three years. Besides, they literally mean new. Biffy Clyro have experimented with their style a lot. The first four albums are post-grunge with elements of progressive.

Later, they switched to alt-rock and indie. Their new Ellipsis (2016) is already considered a great breakthrough. It has shown that Biffy Clyro is not of that bands that have an uncertain future – they are on the rise! This winter, ‘the Wolves of Winter, Biffy Clyro are performing for you in Birmingham at Barclaycard Arena.

Red Hot Chili Peppers 10.12.2016 Birmingham

Red Hot Chili Peppers

Before The Getaway saw the light this year, the huge Red Hot Chili Peppers fan army was split into two groups. The first one never stopped waiting for a new album, because they can never get enough of RHCP. Others thought that the band was better to tour with the old material, as no one can do anything better than The RHCP Of The Past, even The RHCP Of The Present.

But when The Getaway got released, all these argues stopped immediately. The new album in now called the best that the band have created since… well, 1999. Or even 1995, if one doesn’t like Californication much. You should definitely sink in the enormous energy of RHCP music and you can do it in Birmingham this December at Genting Arena.

Blossoms 13.12.2016 London

Blossoms

Concerts in London are always astonishing, there is no doubt about that. Right before this Christmas Eve, Blossoms will entertain the capital once again. The band has rushed into the hearts of millions all over the world with just a couple of songs. But these songs are really outstanding. Once you hear them, you cannot get them out of your head.

This is definitely the case with Charlemagne. As for I Wanna Love You, it sounds so familiar even for those who are listening to it for the first time, that it seems that the song has ever existed. There is no doubt that when the debut Blossoms album is out, it will be a great financial success. If you don’t want to wait for it at home, visit O2 Shepherds Bush Empire to see Blossoms live.

Status Quo 20.12.2016 Glasgow

status-quo

A British rock band Status Quo is mainly famous in the whole world for their song In the Army Now (1986). Actually, it was not written by the band themselves, but by the Bolland brothers, that is, the hit is a cover version of the original track. In the official video shows army recruits undergoing different obstacles.

It reminds the history of Status Quo. They rose and sank into oblivion, and rose again. In 2014, the world saw the 31st (!!!) Status Quo studio album Aquostic (Stripped Bare), which turned out to be a great surprise. It was the first totally acoustic band’s LP conducted of the best hits of the previous albums. Some of these versions you can hear live at the Glasgow’s The SSE Hydro at the end of the year.

From the Jam 27.01.2017 Bath

from-the-jam

The pioneers of the mod revival and the new wave, The Jam have got kind and picturesque history. From the Jam was formed by The Jam’s David Moore and Bruce Foxton.

In 2015, their latest LP Smash the Clock saw the light by Foxton’s name. The album also featured Paul Weller, the lead vocalist of original The Jam lineup. From the Jam show is a perfect way to spend a great evening. So, don’t miss them.

Drake 01.02.2017 London

Drake-Views-promo-photo

Those who are not familiar with Drake’s work, this Canadian rapper may seem a little superficial and too commercial. Dating and breaking up for several times a year, filling the web with gossips about his personal life (not himself of course, but still), and wearing enormous jewellery are not quite the features of a talented lyric poet. But this is a part of a celebrity’s life, much hyperbolized by the mass-media.

On the other hand, if you want to listen to the real rap, with all the deep emotions it has to convey, Drake is one of the best choices. His songs truly reflects his personality and the lyrics are clear to anyone. London will see Drake at the very beginning of February 2017 at in the O2. But this is not his only show in the capital. Check out Drake’s and other concerts in London!
