Drake Sells 1.2 Million Copies of ‘Views’ In Six Days | Music News
Drake‘s Views was predicted to sell 900,000 copies, possibly one million, according to Billboard. That number seemed completely feasible, as the album sold 600,000 the day after its release.
Now, Pitchfork reports that Republic Records have announced that Views has sold 1.2 million copies in six days, streaming included. A million of those copies are from the United States.
Views is out everywhere today, digitally and physically. It remains an Apple Music exclusive until May 13, when it’ll appear on other streaming services.
My favourite genres are Rap, R&B, Pop & some Metal for good measure, (Hail Satan and all that). Unfortunately for you, I’m not Batman, nor am I Spiderman, I’m just a human being who’s trying to follow his passion for Music, hoping to achieve some level of success. I enjoy Film, watching TV series (the gruesome kind, such as Hannibal, may it R.I.P.) and I enjoy Art; creating and admiring. All in all, you’ve heard it all before, so I’ll let my writing do the talking! http://lamusique-et-lafolie.tumblr.com
