You would think that after a world tour covering most of the globe, Pop band Duran Duran would want to take a well-earned rest. That however is not the case with the band set to appear at the Eden Project in Cornwall. It is all part of the BBC’s Music Day and the band will bring an end to the celebrations on June 3rd. The whole event will be broadcast by Radio 2 and then highlights will air on BBC One on there following Sunday.

The full list of events taking place have not yet been announce but we are assured there will be some record-breaking attempts, unknown artist showcasing and concerts taking place all across the UK. Tickets for the Duran Duran concert go on sale on April 18 so you better be quick. The whole day is billed as “a UK-wide celebration of sound” which suggests tickets are likely to sell out fast.
