Emma Roberts And Jamie Lee Curtis Set To Lead Comedy-Horror Series ‘Scream Queens’ | TV News
Fox has commissioned a new horror-comedy series from Glee creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, and rumor has it both Emma Roberts and Jamie Lee Curtis are set to star. According to Deadline, the 15-episode first installment of the anthology series, Scream Queens is set to start next Autumn and revolves around a College campus that’s rocked after a series of murders.
Neither Roberts of Jamie Lee Curtis are new to the horror scene as Emma has starred in the last two series of mega show American Horror Story and Curtis is well known for her breakthrough role in John Carpenter’s Halloween. With American Horror Story still going strong and completely over turning the television horror genre, is there really room for this comedy scare series? If we’re honest, it’s going to be hard to live up to that high standard and despite both Curtis and Roberts being major draw in’s for the new series – it’s hard to imagine anyone but the legendary Jessica Lange taking on the role as Scream Queen!
