Faithless Celebrate 20th Anniversary With ‘Faithless 2.0’ Remix Album | Music News

 

Faithless came together in 1995 and is made up of Maxi Jazz, Sister Bliss and producer Rollo Armstrong. Six albums later, and they are known as one of the most iconic dance groups of all time. Their last album, The Dance sold around 600,000 records which led them to play to 2 million people around the world. This year marks their 20th anniversary in the music business, and the band plan to celebrate with a special remix album called Faithless 2.0.

 

Current electronic artists, and artists that have inspired them in the past, have been called upon to remix their music for the album. These consist of Avicii, Tiesto, Rudimental, Flux Pavilion, Above and Beyond, Booka Shade, Claptone, High Contrast, Eric Prydz, Purple Disco Machine and more to be announced. Faithless 2.0 is due for release in September 2015 and in support of this release will be playing some of European festivals including Lytham Festival (August 6) and South West Four festival (29 August).
