Fashion Veteran Harold Tillman Offers To Buy Back Jaeger From Better Capital | Fashion News
Former owner of troubled British brand Jaeger, Harold Tillman is offering to buy the luxury brand back from its current owners – Jon Moulton’s Better Capital. The brand has been trying to revamp its image to compete with the likes of Reiss on the high street but hasn’t been able to shed it’s dated image. The former owner has made an offer for the business, which operates over 50 stores globally, he stated that “he had a sense of personal affection towards the brand“. There’s no denying that under Tillman’s ownership, the company was far more successful than it’s current owners. We will have to wait and see what 2015 brings for Jaeger and whether the fortunes and fate of this infamous retail brand can be altered by Tillman.
